Altar Guild

The women of the Altar Guild perform a silent, or hidden, ministry preparing and adorning the altar and church for our worship services.

Unless you happen to drop by the church on a Saturday morning you might be unaware of all the effort altar guild members put forth in preparing the altar area.  They clean the Chancel, arrange the flowers on the altar, fill candles and eternal light, prepare Holy Communion, and change paraments with the Season of the Church year. After services they clean up the communion wares, remove the flowers and straighten up the chancel area. The altar guild works closely with the pastor, complementing his ministry of the word and sacraments.

We are blessed with a dedicated group of Altar Guild members.  If you are interested in learning more about this ministry, speak to Regina Humphrey or Dallas Newman.  Training is available.

Prayer Chain

Food Support

Sewing & Quilt-Making

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Reception Support - Participate in the hospitality of the congregation for various celebrations and special events.  No food styling expertise is needed...just clean hands and a willingness to serve!

Office Support -  Lots of information flows through the Church Office every week -- we can use what skills you have, whether advanced or basic! Be a part of the team that puts it all together.

Offering Counter -  After each service, the offering is tallied and the appropriate accounts are updated. Precision is essential, and problem-solving is a plus!

Join the St. Paul Relay for Life Team -  Our congregation strongly supports Niceville’s Relay for Life event in the spring. The more, the merrier!

Adopt-A-Highway Volunteer -  Help return God’s beautiful earth to a better state -- by helping us maintain our designated stretch of road on a regular basis. Watch for scheduled opportunities to get out and pick up!

Property Care and Maintenance Volunteers

Trustee Support -  From changing light bulbs to installing new equipment to freshening up a coat of paint to trimming that low-hanging branch, the Trustees rely on our “homegrown” talent to keep our maintenance budget lean and mean.  Several times a year, we schedule work days to tackle seasonal chores and specific tasks. There’s always a job to suit a willing helper!

Music for Worship

Vocalists - The Sanctuary Choir leads worship at our Traditional Worship services during the year. Teens and adults are encouraged to participate.  Experience is not required, just a desire to serve.  The Praise Team leads worship at our Contemporary Worship services. We welcome teens and adults who are ready to make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

Instrumentalists - St. Paul’s Handbell Choir plays a three-octave set of English handbells. It helps if you can already read music before you join.
Do you play piano, organ, guitar, bass, drums?? Trumpet, violin, flute, cello?? Harp?? Let our Music Director, Brad Sanko, know how you would like to glorify the Lord in song, and he will help put your talents to work in our services!
