Events

With the new email service, Pastor Charlton and the Council can quickly share information without having to be physically at the church. If you have any questions about the group email, or would like to be added or removed from the group, email either Pastor David (pastor@stpaulniceville.com) or Council Presided, Bob Hoffman (president@stpaulniceville.com).

Second, until further notice, all activities at St. Paul are cancelled. That includes Bible studies, meals, youth groups, and Christian Education. Our office is also closed, with Pastor David, Pastor Bob, and the staff working primarily from home. We are still checking and responding to emails, so please email the church office at stpaul@stpaulniceville.com as needed. Phone messages are sent to email, so if you call the office at (850)678-1298 and leave a message, your call will be returned.

On Sunday we will hold one 9:30 AM worship service. That service will be live streamed on the St. Paul Lutheran Church and School Facebook page. We recommend that you watch from your phone or home computer, especially if you are in a high risk group, are sick, or have been in contact with a person who might be sick. However, the doors will be open and those who come will be welcome. There should be plenty of space to practice "social separation".

Pastor David has started a devotion each morning at approximately 11:00 a.m. The Sunday Services and the daily devotions will be saved to Facebook so that you can watch it at a later time. Pastor David also plans on e-mailing a copy of the devotion to the congregation for those who don't use Facebook. If you need assistance accessing the Facebook page, please email president@stpaulniceville.com.

In addition to the live-streamed Service on Sunday morning, Pastor David will be offering the Sacrament of Communion as a "drive-up" service. We are still working on the "hows", but if interested, drive to the church at any time between 10:30-12:00 Sunday morning.

Finally, the Pastors, staff, and Council are working to answer the many questions ahead. We are meeting on Monday evening to discuss the issues, and to develop contingency plans. About the only thing anyone agrees on is that we don't know "how long". We will be discussing alternatives for the remainder of Lent and Easter, among other issues.
